At The Shed, we’ve created a space that feels like a home away from home. Whether you’re popping in for your morning caffeine fix, meeting friends for lunch, or simply seeking a quiet spot to unwind, we want you to feel like part of our extended family.
From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted with the delicious aroma of freshly brewed Mozzo Coffee and a promise of delicious homemade fresh food celebrating seasonal produce with vegan, dairy and gluten free options always available. But more than just food and drink, we’re here to provide you with a friendly smile and a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Great selection of home-baked cakes and pastries – made mostly in-house – and a good selection of reasonably-priced local and Mediterranean inspired meals and snacks, all light and tasty. They offer a full range of coffees, smoothies and light drinks, of course.
The real charm of The Shed is in the staff – warm, friendly and very efficient. It’s owner-managed and the team are mostly family and friends.
The décor is relaxing, eco-friendly avant-garde. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops and the ambience quotient at The Shed is way out in front. And did I mention the great selection of funky music?
It’s very popular of course, but in warmer weather there are tables outside where you can enjoy your coffee and watch riverside life, continental style! Don’t miss it!”

Transitioning into brunch, our sourdough toast comes with a variety of handmade toppings, from the flavorful Shed Smoky Beans to the indulgent Smashed Avocado with roasted tomatoes and feta. Classic dishes like Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine are also available, each made with fresh, local produce.

Sandwiches, soups & toasties…
We offer a delicious selection of grilled cheese toasties and sandwiches, perfect for a satisfying lunch. Our toasties, served from 11:30 AM, are made with sourdough from our friends at DOUGH in Bath Place. They include tempting options like Kimchi, mushroom, and cheddar, Riverside Butchers ham with Emmental, Dijon mustard, and mayo, and Brie with mango chutney and rocket.
Our sandwiches feature fresh ingredients and tasty combinations and are all served with a side salad and sea salt crisps.
Additionally, we offer a Homemade Soup of the Day, served with sourdough bread, and a refreshing House Salad with fresh greens, avocado, houmous, and roasted harissa tomatoes. Be sure to check our board for monthly homemade specials – all crafted with care using local ingredients sourced from Dough, Riverside Butchers and Granny Smiths.
